ALDEIA DO CHÃO DAS OVELHAS, SERTÃ

The “Aldeia do Chão das Ovelhas,” near Sertã and the Cabril Dam, is an ancient agricultural village located atop a plateau with medieval characteristics. It includes 7 buildings and 5 plots, totaling 7,931 sqm, with 441 sqm of ruins that have the potential for restoration, possibly for tourism. Abandoned 60 years ago, the village has abundant water, good infrastructure, and easy access. Surrounded by fertile gardens and close to two dams, the area attracts Europeans for its natural beauty and quality of life.
