QUINTA DA ALFAZEMA, VILA CHÃ DE OURIQUE

Centenary estate, with about 30 hectares, located in Vila Chã de Ourique, in the Cartaxo municipality (Ribatejo), 50 km from Lisbon and the airport. A partially walled farm, with a surrounding road, in which we find a six-bedroom house and 2 caretaker’s houses, both with 2 bedrooms, living room and bathroom. The farming land, mostly dedicated to wine production, occupies about 21 hectares and has a production capacity of 500,000 Lt. of wine per year. The grape varieties are Trincadeira, Cabournet, Fernão Pires, Boal Alicante and Periquita. Red, White and Rosé wines with the trademark: ADEGA da ALFAZEMA and QUINTA da ALFAZEMA. Estate has several infrastructures and machinery inherent to the vineyard and wine making: two wineries, the old one with 2 underground deposits and the new one with 12 stainless steel vats; 3 wells; 1 borehole; 1 wine cooling chiller; 6 tractors and accessories.
